You have the spouse, the house, the kids, and the dogs. Your life checks all the boxes, but you feel empty. It’s not enough, it’s not right, or maybe it’s just that you’re ungrateful? You feel empty and GUILTY.

I want you to know that you aren’t alone and you aren’t a bad person because you have these thoughts and feelings. They are serving an important function–  they are telling us that something needs an adjustment. Parts of you aren’t getting what they need.

The problem is that we get the message everyday that we aren’t supposed to have needs. We are supposed to take care of everyone’s needs and be happy with what we get– the leftovers, if there are any leftovers.

So let me ask you this: If you had no restrictions, if you had the magic wand, what would you be wishing for? And how can we carve out just a little bit of time for that spark today?
